DMCA Copyright Policy

HER-STEMisphere respects intellectual property rights. This page explains how to notify us of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. §512). Our full Terms of Service also cover user content and acceptable use.

Register or update your designated agent details with the U.S. Copyright Office as required for safe-harbor compliance, and include a physical mailing address there and in notices when available.
2. What to include in your notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (for example a URL or post ID)
- Your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner
3. Our process
Upon receiving a compliant notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it. We may terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are repeat infringers. Counter-notices may be submitted as provided by 17 U.S.C. §512(g).
Members may also report posts in the app using the Copyright report reason. In-app reports help moderation but a complete DMCA notice should still be emailed to the address above when you seek formal takedown under §512.
